Winter Festivals
New for the 2011-12 Winter Season!
Panorama Mountain Village is turning up the winter fun by introducing FOUR themed festivals. We invite guests to help us celebrate our favourite season by joining us to participate both on and off the slopes from January through April.
Guests can expect their family holiday experience to be elevated to new levels. An amazing atmosphere will create lasting memories and have you ready to celebrate too!
Each weekend will begin with free tobogganing on Friday night, for all lodging guests and Valley residents. Then get ready for two days of parades, food and drink specials, live music, themed activities, face painting, costumes, Rail Jams, special dinners, family photos and prizes!!
Festival Passports – As you take part in festival activities, have the Panorama staff mark off the corresponding squares on your Festival Passport. Be sure to turn it in at the end of the weekend for your chance to win a two nights of accommodation!
Panorama’s Snowflake Festival – January 20 to 22, 2012
Designed to complement the Invermere Snowflake festival, we will be celebrating the pristine beauty of the our snow-capped mountains and everything SNOW! Winter is on!

Panorama’s Mardi Gras – February 24 to 26, 2012
We don’t have a bayou, but the beauty of our big mountain shine though our peoples’ hearts. Get ready to get Cajun in the snow!
The Panorama Stampede – March 16 to 18, 2012
Perfect for families, this stampede style festival pays tribute to Western Canada’s heritage with cowboy cookouts, roping and wrangler ski races. Saddle up and ride out for the best weekend of your winter!
Panorama’s Spring Carnival – April 6 to 9, 2012
The spring breeze and warmer temperatures draw people out to bask in the warm sun and enjoy a barbeque on one of our many south facing decks. Get out and enjoy the spring snow before it all melts away into summer!
All Valley Residents are also welcome to come up for the day and take part in the celebration!
